DuttonFootball News Update!!

Congratulations go out to Norman Heuer and Greg Carothers! Both staff members of DuttonFootball, they were recently drafted in the 2007 NFL Europa Free Agent Draft.

Norman was drafted in the 2nd round by the Amsterdam Admirals!

Greg was drafted in the 15th round by the Amsterdam Admirals as well!

Follow them this season on the NFL Network and wish them luck on capturing their second World Bowl title!!

Ryan Dutton was born in Oshkosh, WI and attended Oshkosh West High School. His love for football began at local NFL Punt, Pass, & Kick competitions. Ryan won 3 Wisconsin State Titles in PP&K. He was an All-State performer in baseball, football, and basketball at Oshkosh West. During his career, Ryan broke 32 school records for the Wildcats. A very versatile athlete, Ryan was a P/1B in baseball and QB/Punter in football at Minnesota State. He was a perennial All-American in football, and was named the NCC Conference MVP in baseball his senior year. He still holds career marks for passing and punting at MSU.

Ryan has worked his way to the NFL, playing for the Cleveland Browns in 2004. In 2005, he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks. They sent him to NFL Europe where he led the league in punting, and helped the Amsterdam Admirals win World Bowl XXIII. An injury set him back in training camp, but he recently made his way home and signed on with the Green Bay Packers for the 2006 season. During the 2006 season, Ryan was part of the Oakland Raiders practice squad and is currently working out for teams to finalize a contract for the upcoming season!

Greg Carothers  6’1” 230 LB
Helena, MT native
NCAA All-American at University of Washington.
Rated #3 safety in the country his senior year of college by NFL Draft Reports.
Has since converted to a linebacker in the NFL.
Has played with San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and Buffalo Bills of the NFL.
Starting LB for the 2005 World Champion Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe. Recently selected in the 15th round of the NFL Europa Free Agent Draft. Greg will take the lead once again as the Admirals middle linebacker in attempt to bring home a second World Bowl Trophy to Amsterdam!
Greg recently stated over the phone he can't wait for his vacation in the foothills of Caliornia again! He enjoyed a great year with Amsterdam this season, playing through a broken jaw in order to remain the leader of the defense on that NFL squad! We are so lucky to have Greg as a part f DuttonFootball!!
